Robb Rill

Robb Rill is the founder of The Strategic Group which is a private equity firm that has two main arms Strategic Funding Inc, and Strategic Capital Advisors Inc.  One specializing in investing in private companies and taking majority or wholly owned equity positions in them, and the second which specializes in securities trading with an emphasis in short selling securities and identifying micro cap fraud in the market. He has used his experience and expertise in uncovering mis-pricings and fraud and exposed them through the media and to the SEC.  His securities analysis work through Strategic Capital Advisors inc. in the public markets has in part been responsible for exposing several fraudulent companies operating in the mircrocap market that resulted in them being de listed or ceasing operations. He has also been involved with taking companies public, and most notably been the exclusive financial advisor, and recently negotiated the sale of Abazias.com ( a publicly traded company) which is the largest diamond company on the Internet by inventory. His work has been profiled in several prominent publications and he has a written a book called In the Shadows of Wall Street chronicling his work in these markets currently being published by Cambridge Ivory Press, LLC. He Holds a BSBA in Finance from the University of Florida, and an MBA from the University of Florida in Finance and Entrepreneurial studies.

On a personal level Mr. Rill has been actively involved for the past 8 years and on the Board of Directors for Lab Rescue of Florida, the largest Labrador Retriever rescue organization in the nation, and has been instrumental by using his financial and corporate expertise to leverage technologies and implement fund raising efforts which has assisted in the organization in rescuing over five thousand dogs since inception. Mr Rill is also an avid sports car enthusiast and has participated in several national and world recognized events such as the Baja 1000 and Gumball 3000, as well as several professional auto rallies. In addition, he has competed in numerous triathalons, marathons, and is currently Shodan candidate (Black
Belt) in Renshinkan Karate. He spends his time primarily in Florida and Vancouver where he lives with his wife Tara, and their 9 year old Black Lab named Lexie.
