WCE Dallas is seeking donated testing/storage space as we gather computers for shipments to connect schools in Mexico.
WCE Dallas is also seeking donated used Pentium 4 laptops to ship to help connect schools in Mexico.
WCE Dallas has worked with Rotary to gather and ship computers from Dallas to help connect schools in Mexico.
Volunteering
We need volunteers from Dallas to help to accomplish the following five tasks:
- Pick-up, inventory, test and pack donated used computers
- Coordinate public computer donation events and related marketing
- Recruit participation of local universities and high schools
- Raise sponsorship funds to help WCE Partners with the last 1/3 of the sourcing and shipping costs
- Recruit volunteers to help WCE with our work in the field or to be a tech volunteer on one of our eCorps trips
