eCorps

eCorps

eCorps is our international service program where volunteers travel to work, meet, and plan projects with our partners.

Our eCorps Tech is our travel program focused on helping partners who have previously received computers from us. We develop specific eCorps project plans with our Partners, recruit volunteers, orient them, plan the trip and then evaluate the project.

eCorps Travelers program is geared towards those already planning to go to one of the countries in our network. Volunteers meet with WCE's partners and potential partners to plan our next shipment of computers, evaluate and write stories about the status, use, and impact of our prior shipments to the country as well as explore their interest in one of our initiatives.

So…Take a Trip!!

Visit with local families and enjoy a variety of opportunities to experience the local culture. Expenses related to eCorps trips are tax-deductible as allowed by the government of the home country of participating volunteers. WCE "Travelers"

WCE regularly needs Development Officers and other individual volunteers to visit a developing country to help meet with groups that are interested in WCE. They meet with WCE's Partners and potential Partners to plan our next shipment of computers and to evaluate and write stories about the status, use, and impact of our prior shipments to the country. We also ask eCorps Travelers to take digital pictures for our website.  Here is a sample report from one of our "Travelers" as well as a story about the work of one of our "Travelers".

Some of the countries recently visited by WCE volunteers: Armenia, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Cameroon, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Peru, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Swaziland, Tanzania.
