A team of fifteen tech volunteers from VMware helped WCE Boston refurbish computers destined for schools in Zambia. New Horizons is organizing an employee tech team to help in Nicaragua. Volunteers from Walgreens regularly help WCE Chicago.  And they're not the only ones. Workplace volunteer programs are becoming increasingly popular. Whether it's posting volunteer opportunities with WCE on your company bulletin boards, in newsletters and on your website, to organizing a 'day of service' we've got some great volunteer opportunities for you.

Here are some other examples of how corporate volunteers help WCE:

  • Anvil Knitwear:  Sponsors projects in schools near their factories in Nicaragua and Honduras 
  • Aramex:  Provides free shipping and volunteers to help with installation in the MENA region
  • San Luis Rassini:  Provides Sponsor funds for projects in schools near their factories in Mexico where their employees prep the schools and teachers and install the labs
  • The Strategic Group:  Staff selects countries where they financially Sponsor shipments, staff are rewarded with travel grants for eCorps tech trips to developing countries, and staff volunteer as WCE Development Officers
