Computers that were previously donated in Los Angeles were driven to San Francisco and were included in a shipment to connect schools in Nepal.

Volunteering

We need volunteers from Los Angeles to help to accomplish the following five tasks:

• Pick-up, inventory, test and pack donated used computers
• Coordinate public computer donation events, speakers bureau and press releases 
• Recruit participation of local universities and high schools (for community service, pairings, interns and eCorps trips)
• Raise Sponsorship funds to help WCE Partners with the last 1/3 of the sourcing and shipping costs (this includes Rotary)
• Recruit volunteers to help with Chapter & field work or to be an eCorps tech volunteer or staff a youth Internet camp
