In April of 2004, the First Lady of Ecuador and National President of Instituto Nacional de la Niñez y la Familia (http://www.innfa.org), M.D. Ximena Bohórquez officiated at the arrival ceremony for their 220 WCE computers.
The computers are being used to connect to the Internet INNFA's fifteen youth centers. Over 2,000 youth are being connected by these computers.
The computers were gathered, tested, and packed by volunteers from WCE Baltimore/Washington.
The project was partially supported by a gala fund raiser held by the Association of Ecuadorian Ladies in Washington DC was greatly assisted by the Consul General of Ecuador in the USA, Pablo Yánez.
