  • Coordinate marketing for public computer donation events, eCorps recruitment, volunteer recruitment, speakers bureau, and press releases for shipments
  • Pick-up, inventory, test and pack donated used computers
  • Recruit eCorps tech volunteers from local universities and community and organize Speakers Bureau and work with local universities and high schools on community service, pairings, interns
  • Recruit, organize and nurture volunteers to help with Chapter & field work including for eWaste, eCorps, and capacity building

About the Philadelphia Chapter

Our Philadelphia Chapter is always looking for volunteers from the area. Currently we are looking for new donated storage/testing space so we can expand our efforts. And we are always looking for people with vans driving to DC or Boston to transport computers.

Seeking new donated storage/testing space so we are limited in the quantity at any given time. Always looking for people with vans driving to carry computers on their way to DC or Boston.

When we pick-up donations, we ask for a voluntary pick-up donation of $10 per computer to help us cover our transportation and storage costs.
