WCE has shipped 205 computers to UNRWA in Jordan to connect 20,000 youth in 20 schools. PARTNERS: To date, 4 of WCE's 439 formal partners in 63 developing countries are in the Middle East or North Africa. These 4 partners are in the 4 countries of Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and Morocco. Each country in the Middle East and North Africa where WCE has signed formal partner agreements with local NGOs or government ministries is listed below in alphabetical order. |

Ministry of Industry, Commerce and the Artisanat, Kingdom of Morocco seeking to connect 40 schools with 5,760 students. They are being assisted by 65 Peace Corps Volunteers. WCE Board of Directors approved of this partnership on 9 February 2003 contingent on receipt of the list of schools. UNRWA seeking 210 Pentium III computers to connect schools in the Palestinian refugee camps. (Implementation Plan) Contingent on more detail in plan. Contact: Stephen Sena of WCE. WCE Board of Directors voted to approveiEARN-Jordan as a Partner on 5 February 2006 that led to amendment to UNRWA on 25 June 2006.
