  • Solicit Donations from local Ottawa businesses
  • Maintain a list and follow up with prospective donators
  • Help to increase the organization’s community profile and fundraising initiatives

Operations Coordinator:

  • Set the vision for what WCE Ottawa will be. It can be pretty low key or very ambitious, it’s completely up to you.
  • Decide on WCE Ottawa policies: How do we issue receipts?/ how are pickups handled? etc.
  • Coordinate all parts of WCE Ottawa to ensure that everything is running smoothly.
  • Ensure that the volunteer coordinator is making the testing days happen, that the computers are being tested and inventoried, that receipts are being issued, that the donation process is efficient, that PR happens in a timely way, and that fundraising efforts are coordinated with other aspects of the organization.
