Current Projects
Since 2000, World Computer Exchange has worked in over 60 countries throughout the developing world to help youth - through schools, libraries, orphanages and communities centers - connect to the skills, opportunities and understanding of the Internet while keeping working computers out of landfills. Our projects are designed to build the capacity of our in-country Partners in project planning, partnership development, fund raising, tech support, content development, teacher training and responsible disposal of e-waste, to improve the quality of education and increase the chances for these communities to overcome poverty and contribute to the economic growth of their countries.
