A volunteer with World Computer Exchange spent some time in the state of Sikkim, India and arranged in June of 2008 for a Sponsor to help pay the $12,000 in sourcing and shipping to provide 204 computer sets to help connect 15 schools.  The schools are in the north-eastern part of India.  The shipment is planned to arrive in November - just after their rainy season.

The shipment will include printers, scanners and network hubs for each school.

This is WCE's 9th shipment to India.

This shipment will be coming from WCE Burlington (Vermont).  This will be their 9th WCE shipment arranged by John Fitz Gerald with special thanks to Land Air Express for reduced costs for storage and transportation.
