Currently WCE has 30 WCE volunteers who have agreed to help find individual, group, foundation, corporate or Rotary Sponsors. In their first year of the WCE Sponsor Campaign - 2006 - they raised $100,454 to help finance the last 1/3 of containers to help connect youth in the following 12 developing countries: Bolivia, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, El Salvador, Ghana, Jordan, Kenya, Nepal, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Zambia. Please contact Timothy Anderson if you are interested in Sponsoring the last 1/3 of the costs of any of the 12,400 computers for these 35 WCE Partner organisations in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East who have nearly completed all of their preparations. These computers will connect 740 schools and centres with over 351,200 youth. The total of US$331,700 in Sponsorships that are being sought is less than $1 per student!
