Sponsor Campaign Criteria

Under the Sponsor Campaign, WCE volunteers raise the final 1/3 within 4 months from Sponsors outside the recipient country for up-to ten Partners that have raised two-thirds of their sourcing and shipping costs. (Not applicable for for-profit organizations, Windows, laptops and LCD monitors. 15% is added to Sponsors donation for this program. Partners interested in being part of the WCE Sponsor Campaign must meet and agree to the following criteria :

• Maximum of 10 developing countries participating at any one time
• Only one container per country in the Campaign at the same time
• Full 20-foot or 40-foot containers only
• Containers of Pentium 4+ computers and LCD monitors are NOT eligible
• Partner provides letter of commitment from Rotary Club
• Partner subscribes to WCE Capacity Building package
• Partner wires 2/3 of total sourcing & shipping costs
• Partner provides a story with digital pictures of youth who will benefit
• Partner provides a report on any prior shipment
• WCE volunteers take up-to 4 months to raise final 1/3 of costs
• WCE adds 15% fund raising fee to this final 1/3 of costs raised by WCE volunteers
• WCE ships within 5 months
• 5% sourcing cost reduction for Rotary/Peace Corps/iEARN involvement does NOT also apply
