Seeking Sponsors for the last 1/3 of the sourcing and shipping costs for a shared container to WCE Partners in Pakistan. Always looking for people with vans to carry computers on their way to New Haven or Boston.

Volunteering

We need volunteers from Stamford to help to accomplish the following five tasks (Roles Within WCE Chapters):

  • Computer Donations Team
  • Inventory, Test, and Pack the Donated Computers
  • Coordinate public computer donation events and related marketing
  • Recruit participation of local universities and high schools
  • Raise sponsorship funds to help WCE Partners with the last 1/3 of the sourcing and shipping costs

WCE also needs volunteers to provide online support to WCE partners in developing countries in the following three roles (Online Volunteer Roles)

  • Online Tech Support Volunteer
  • Online Content Support Volunteer
  • Online Telecenter Management Support Volunteer
