Connect with WCE. Connect with people and network on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter. Join a Chapter. Start a Chapter. Sign up for our newsletter and get the latest news, find out what's happening. By connecting for WCE you become one of our legions of volunteers and supporters who help bring opportunities to youth in developing countries.
Raise $100
Ask 10 friends to donate $10 or donate $100. Either way it equals 2 computers to a school and as many as 100 students get to sit down at a computer - for the first time. Donate with friends, host a fundraiser, share the stories of our impact... by speading the word you help to connect more youth.
Take a Trip
Great adventures await!! Every year WCE organizes trips to help our partner organisations make the most out of having computers. If you're already traveling -- you can help through our travelers program.
Schools Too
There are alots of great ways for students and teacher to help youth in developing countries. Interested in organizing a fund raiser or starting a WCE Chapter on your campus - we have lots of information to help get you started. Visit our Volunteer page for ways your campus can help out. Our Kids4Kids program aims to get kids into the fundraising spirit giving youth of all ages ideas of activies that will make a difference in the lives of youth in developing countries. Our Chapters are great resources too. If you have any questions you can always email us at sponsor@worldcomputerexchange.org.
There are lots of things you can do. Here are just a few ideas to get you started:
- Have a bake sale
- Donate a portion of your allowance
- Have a yard sales
- Organize a computer donation drive at your school
- Car Wash
- Hold a walk
- Hold a dance
- Make and sell jewelry
- Lemonade stand
- Raffle items
- Have a special party/birthday party
- Volunteer through one of our chapters
