WCE is a resource partner to UNESCO.

WCE was a member of the Access Working Group of the UN ICT Task Force.
WCE has formed Strategic Alliances with UNITeS, SDNP, and UN Volunteers.
WCE has received funding and support from the United Nations for shipments to WCE Partner organisations in the following countries:
- Bangladesh (3 containers) to UNDP/SDNP
- Benin (1 container) to UNDP/SDNP
- Cameroon (2 containers) to UNDP/SDNP
- Nigeria (2 shipments) - UNDP via Citizens International to Rivers State University and through Citizens International and the New Nigeria Foundation to the government of Bauchi state.
- Zambia (UNICEF assisted) (8 containers) for New Vision For Africa
WCE is about to send containers directly to UNDP Bolivia for a schools project they developed and to D.R. Congo under the Post Conflict programme. See the list of plans below.
The WCE Board of Directors has voted to enter into Partnerships with UNICEF in Botswana and UNDP in Bhutan, Barbados, and Iraq - but these shipments have not yet gone forward. See the list of plans below
