WCE Welcomes New Board Members
World Computer Exchange is please to welcome three new members to our Board of Directors .
- Janet Auman is originally from Peru and has lived overseas for the last 25 years, including 9 developing countries, working in international development. Janet now lives in Vermont and hopes to help WCE by championing WCE within her network.
- Peter Hellmonds, Head of Public and International Affairs for Nokia Siemens Networks, is a German national who has been involved in ICT for development for 26 years since he was living in Cairo. Most of his career has been in business with a couple of years working at the World Bank. He was first introduced to WCE in 2001 working on a project with the World Economic Forum. Peter also serves on the Strategy Council of UN Global Alliance for ICT in Development.
- Millie Liggins is a manager at Walgreens coordinating the roll out of new equipment to their 7,000 stores. She has helped WCE recruit volunteers and arranged for various departments of Walgreens to donate hundreds of their computers. Millie brings to the Board broad-based corporate experience and skills in fund raising events.
